Some friends and former clients from California released this remake of a Goyte song and it's excellent! Please check it out! http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=4Hm76LDG_Og#!

I got a small interview on " The Joy Cardin Show" on Wisconsin Public Radio about photography and my love for this great state. It's this Friday, Dec 9. Hope your up early to listen! I'll be on at 6:15 in the morning! WAKE UP...this is going to take a strong cup of coffee to put my brain to work that early in the morning.
I got 6 photos published in the Wisconsin Trails "Capture Wisconsin" book photo contest! That's pretty darn good if you ask me. Some real stunning photography from all around this great state in the book. This next summer I really want to start traveling around the state and even Iowa to photograph some of the fun county fair events.
Do you want to be a good photographer? Here's a small bit of advice "Always be shooting" just go out and enjoy making pictures, even when you may be feeling overwhelmed with other aspects of life. Take photos as often as possible. The more you shoot, the more perceptive you become.
Mark Adamus' words:
Even in the hands of a master, a camera alone will never capture Nature as we can observe it with all of our senses. My goal is to illustrate the rich experiences I have had in this multi- dimensional world as best as I can within the limits of this two-dimensional medium. Although I generally don't add or remove anything significant from my images, there is never an absolute definition of what I saw in the image to begin with. How we see is a very personal thing. To this point, I believe a great photograph is not merely documenting the scene at hand, rather it is about fusing the essential vision of the artist with the landscape. I believe the most important quality of a photograph, as in all of art, is to evoke an emotional response. While everything in nature does this for me, selecting just the right places and moments to make a photograph that conveys those emotions is far more difficult. My camera is one of the tools I use to achieve my final results, the images you see here. No one tool is perfect, however, and no one tool can make a great artist. My processes involve meticulous attention to detail in my field technique, along with work in today’s digital darkroom to fine tune, optimize and adjust contrasts, colors, tonalities, luminosity, etc. in an attempt to better present to you the experience I felt in being there myself. Agreed 100 First I would like to say that I can't type and second I can't write but since not many people stop in here it just doesn't matter...right? Life is good and the weather has been great for shooting. Did my very first art show in Paoli, Wisconsin on August 20, 2011 and made $250.0 that's 250 more than I would have got sitting at home. So I am not complaining. I vowed never to do art shows (appears vows mean nothing to me)...after seeing what my mother went through as she was a photographer as well, I swore I'd never do them. On the way home from the show it began to rain and I got the feeling I needed to head to the ridge tops and low and behold the sky opened and a beautiful double rainbow appeared. I wasn't in the best location but the light that comes into the scene when a rainbow appears is heavenly...and you never know how long before it fades.
